Nigeria’s currency, Naira, depreciated further against the American dollar at the official window on Monday.
According to Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Data, the Naira closed at N1,470.26/$1, compared to N1,465.67/$1 traded on Friday.
This represents a depreciation of N4.59 for the local currency against the American greenback.
The Naira lost N40 against the American Greenback to trade at N1,500/$1, compared to the previous day’s level of N1,460/$1.
The naira lost N35 against the British pound to trade at N2,035/£1 compared to the previous day’s level of N2,000/£1.

The naira closed flat against the Canadian dollar to trade at N1,200/CA$1, the same as the previous day’s level of N1,200/CA$1.
The Naira lost N30 against the Euro to trade at ₦1,740/€1 compared to previous day’s level of ₦1,710/€1.
