The Nigerian navy saves 99 people from drawing

The Nigerian navy on Tuesday 29 April successfully saved ninety -nine (99) people from drawing in the waters of the river state.

In a declaration signed by the director of information, the Commodore A. Adams Aliu and made available to the basic journalists on Wednesday, a rescue team from the Nigerian navy Pathfinder Navy, has undertaken an operation to successfully save 99 people from the running in the waters of the state of spinners.

According to the declaration, the accident occurred when a barge, Adam (Damen Buba) was involved in a front collision with a market boat along the Akuku Toru LGA route in the state of spinners, with consequent significant structural damage to the market boat. Swiftly, the Pathfinder staff of the Nigerian Navy ship lined up at the Naval Security Station 035 in collaboration with the other 4 Navy gunners has launched a coordinated and effective research and rescue operation, saving all 99 passengers on board, despite the demanding conditions.

The declaration also states that most of the goods of the passengers were successfully recovered.

According to the declaration, “the timely intervention and the rapid response of the Nigerian Navy staff ensured that no life have been lost and that most of the precious properties have been preserved.

“The Nigerian navy reiterates that under the guidance of the head of the naval staff, the deputy admiral Emmanuel Lkechukwu Ogalla, the service will continue to guarantee the safety of all legitimate maritime within the maritime domain of Nigeria.”
