The police arrest the lagos woman for her daughter on fire with hot iron on meat

The command of the Lagos State Police arrested a woman, Chinwentdu onyeneho, for presumably using a hot electric iron to burn his seven -year -old daughter as a punishment for having eaten a piece of meat from a pot.

The disturbing accident occurred on Thursday evening at n. 11 Oshimyemi Street, Ogba area in Lagos, attracting rapid indignation from groups and residents of civil society.

According to the eye witnesses, according to what Onyeneho reported he asked his daughter to serve the meat to the youngest brother, but she got angry when she noticed that the girl had ate part of it.

Presumably he connected an electric iron and used it to inflict multiple burns on the child’s body in full view of the neighbors.

A witness, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said: “He asked his daughter to give flesh to his younger brother.

When he noticed that the girl knew, he got angry, connected an electric iron and used it to burn the child. We were all shocked. It happened right before our eyes. “

The neighbor added that when he confronted herself with cruelty, Onyeneho responded with challenge, telling people to think about their business.

“He told me I didn’t have the right to question her and she dared to do the worst,” said the neighbor.

Further relationships indicated that Onyeneho initially tried to force her daughter to lie on the accident. “He told the child to say that he burned himself by chance,” he revealed another source.

The takeaway movement, an organization for civil rights, was decisive to increase the issue by notifying the Nigerian police forces to the OGBA area.

Since then the group has asked for the full pursuit of suspicion and justice for the injured child.

Confirming the arrest, the commander of the area, ACP Faniyi Abayomi, said that the issue was receiving urgent attention. “We received the complaint. The neighbor who reported to be with us made a formal declaration.

“The department responsible for the well -being of minors and domestic abuse is managing the investigations,” said Abayomi to our correspondent on Friday morning.

The victim is currently receiving medical care, while the police say that further updates will follow as the progress of the investigations.

The accident aroused a widespread condemnation on social media, with many Nigerians asking for more severe penalties for abuse of minors and a greater application of the protection of minors.
