The Rivers State Police Command has declared two senior officials from the Ahoada-Timur Regional Government territory the state desired by the attack on the board administrator, Goodluck Iheanachor.
The two officials were – Head of Council Security Officers, Hector Ekakita and Chief of Staff, Aloni Olodi.
This duo was accused of criminal conspiracy, stealing, attacking conflicting arms and attempted murder.
Command spokesman, Grace Ayirge-Koko, confirmed the development in a statement on Sunday at Port Harcourt.
He said the administrator was attacked by a group of 30 people at the council secretariat on June 20.
“The suspects suspected of causing body damage, stealing administrator cellphones and sensitive documents, and forcibly get their signature under pressure before carrying personal and official items from his office,” the spokesman added.
