The president of the Football Association of the Flag of the State of Lagos, Bodunrin Sasore (also known as BB) has revealed that one of the fundamental objectives of the body is to discover a worldwide nigerian superstar recognized by sport in the not too distant future.
While expressing pride and delight for the huge leadership role that Lagos State is playing to spread the knowledge about the flag football in Nigeria, ‘BB’ added that the average African is physically equipped to be a star in the game that involves men and women who play together in the same team.

He added in an exclusive interview with Sports247 that the great impact that is being created weekly by Showtime Flag Football League (SFFL) has fallen in love with the innovative sport of his iconic place in Lekki, Lagos in a rapid growth fanfare throughout Nigeria.
‘BB’ revealed even more “Flag football is very exciting, and is growing faster than almost any other sport in the world at this time. In fact, recent surveys show that Flag Football and Cricket are currently faster sports in the world.”
Then he spoke brilliantly about the role played by Lagos as a precursor for the growth and spread of the flag football in Nigeria, then hinted that an even greater impact comes from the center of excellence to further boost the mixed sport that was invented in the United States of America.
Sasore added, “We are gaining ground every day, and we believe that it will extend as a fire in Nigeria. Without being too proud, we know that Lagos is the sports activities center in Nigeria. So, it is something of joy and privilege that is representing the chapter of the state of Lagos.
“It is boldly that I also say that everyone should prepare for the seeds of excellent activities that we can defend for flag football here in lakes and take the world.”
The exuberant and charismatic football fan of the flag developed the details of the immediate plans that the Football Association of the State Flag of Lagos is developing in liaison with the interested parties of the sport, since they seek to create a stronger hum in the next few days.
‘Bb’ revealed, “We are very focused on guaranteeing the complete development of flag football in Nigeria. Our goal is to ensure that we disseminate this sport throughout the country. We also have our eyes in international and global proliferation areas.
“We believe that, in this part of the world, there are natural athletes that can excel in the football of the flag. It implies those things in which we are all good, which can help us easily mix ourselves to mark football … speed, strength, athletic reflexes and physical attributes.”
The Supreme Administrative Football of the Flag in the state of Lagos concluded by expressing the optimism that the ongoing efforts of fans, interested parties and flag football promoters will help Nigeria achieve accelerated growth in sport and that the country will quickly become a force that must be taken into account worldwide.
“All of these show that there is a great possibility of obtaining a talent of its own harvest that can become global stars of Nigeria’s flag football. That is what everyone should keep their eyes; although we are currently focusing on proliferating sport locally for now,” Sasore raised.
It started on a clue that a dissemination scheme to teach the rudiments of flag football to students in secondary schools throughout the state of Lagos is also in process.
