The Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) joined the Nigerians to celebrate one of its senior and publisher of Vanguard Media Group, Prince Sam Amuka-Pemu, for his extraordinary 90th birthday.
In a declaration signed by her Secretary General, Dr. Iyobosa Uwudgen, the Gilda described the birthday of Uncle Sam as a testimony of her wisdom, inheritance and permanent commitment for the profession of journalism.
The Gilda explained that as the founder of the Gruppo di Ganguard newspapers, Prince Amuka-Pemu played a fundamental role in modeling the scene of the media.

The Gilda observed that the contributions of Prince Amuka-Pemu go beyond journalism, citing his efforts to promote social justice, education and civic commitment to Saverle and in the Niger-delta region, through its media platform.
“While celebrating your 90th birthday, we honor not only your results but also your life. Your inheritance will continue to inspire and motivate us and future generations,” said Guild.
The Gilda wished Prince Amuka-Pemu a happy 90th birthday, full of joy, love and celebration, and prayed for its continuous good health, happiness and realization.
