The Sardauna Foundation obscures the N200m scholarship for the students of the indigent

The Sardouna Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation has started the delivery of 100,000 scholarships to 200 northern students

Speaking to the formal of reporting of the screening and the provision of the scholarship at the Human Consulting and Development Service Unit, the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria Tuesday, the General Manager of the Foundation, the engineer Abubakar Gambo Umar, said that the program was an annual activity in which 10 students of the 19 students of the North, Federal Capital Territory were invited to exchange for the scholarship for the scholarship.

He said that one of the criteria used by the Foundation in the selection process was that the applicant must be a 200 -level student and does not have a cgpa less than 2.50 in question at 100 levels.

He observed that the beneficiaries came mainly from low -income families who could not pay school fees for one reason or another.

“Our sponsorship will go from 200 levels to graduation unless the beneficiary’s Drop Cgpa.

“I want to use the opportunity to solicit greater support from groups and individuals, in particular the political class to allow us to expand the scope of the regime for the improvement of low -income family students.

Previously, when the Foundation team, led by Madakin Zazzau, Alhaji Muhammad Munir Ja’afar, made him a courtesy visit in his office shortly before the year, the deputy chancellor, Ahmadu Bello University, Professor Adamu Ahmed Ningi, represented by the deputy chancellor (administration), Professor Ahmed Doko, appreciated the foundation.

He noticed that there were many students who hardly pay their school fees due to current economic difficulties.

Deputy Chancellor invited the Foundation to maintain time.
