The Supreme Court on Monday strengthened the lower court decision ordered a man’s rearrangement, Yahaya Ibrahim, who was sentenced to death for a blamed murder.
The state government charged with the other eight of the accusations of three conspiracy counts, the murder that was blamed was punished with death and caused injury to the High Court of the State of Kano.
The government accused that the suspects on November 3, 2011, in the village of Garin Babba caused the death of Alhaji Sabo Jae by attacking him while he slept, with sticks and swords.
Judge Tijani Abubakar punished the death row inmates on June 30, 2014.
Not satisfied with the decision, Yahaya submitted an appeal at the appeal court, Kaduna.
The appeal court on March 26, 2019, allowed the appeal of Yahaya and ordered a re -trial in front of other judges besides Chief Justice Aliyu who punished him.

Unhappy with the decision of the appeal court, the prisoners approached the Supreme Court to put it aside.
In the Brief Argument of the Appeal Appeal Changed Marked: SC/1052 °/2019, and was submitted in February 2025, he asked the top court to determine “Is in this state of case, the Court Judge ordered a new trial when the factors to order new trials did not coexist in this case.”
In the Monday process, five people from the Supreme Court rejected Appeal Yahaya due to lack of services.
In a round decision submitted by Judge Tijjani Abubakar, the High Court stated that the Appeal Court was “The right to order a new court because his request was not taken on the amended charges.”
The panel, because it fired the appeal of Yanghaan submitted by his lawyer, Emmanuel Ekpenyong, sought the dismissal of his violation.
