
The thieves broke into the upper Court Otor-Udu in the area of the local government of Udu in the state of the delta, transporting different objects away, including a property of weapons and a cut court.
The accident, which hit nine offices inside the court’s premises, was discovered on Monday morning when the director of the Court, the lawyer Evelyn Ekefe, arrived for work at about 10:15 am
Ekefe reported the matter to the Police Division of Owian Aladja, stating that thieves made the compressors of exhibition refrigerators, a number of court diaries, the firearm and other objects still to be identified.
Police sources confirmed that patrol teams were quickly lined up on the scene, while the neighboring bushes were sought for clues.
The divisional police officer has ensured that efforts are underway to trace suspicions and investigations have already started.
The authorities have committed themselves to providing updates as the probe advances.
