The Joint Task Force, Operation Enduring Peace (JTF-OPEP), has arrested two alleged cattle suspected in the Kogul community in the regional government area of ​​the highlands.

The task force media officer, Major Samson Zhakom, revealed this in a statement on Thursday in JOS.

He said the arrest of the suspects followed the intelligence report about their activities.

Zhakom added that the troops raided the hiding place allegedly rustlers in the early Thursday.

“As part of an attempt to limit the rustling threat of livestock, which often triggers crisis in the operating area with us, the JTF-Opep troops raided the hiding places of alleged people suspected of being in Kogul Village, Mangu LGA from the highlands.

“During intelligence -based operations, troops caught two people who were famous for restoring several arms and ammunition.

“Some arms include an AK-47 rifle, one AK-47 magazine, one fabrication revolver rifle, 10 rounds of ammunition 7.62 mm (special), cellphones, and reasonable amount of money,” the spokesman said.
