The troops of the Safe Haven (Opsh) operation arrested a man, identified as Musa Ali, in Jos for having impersonated a military officer and attempted to frowe the members of the public.

According to a declaration of the Opsh media officer, Major Samson Zhakom, Saturday, suspected as a soldier and targeted the family of a notorious Gunrunner currently in custody.

Presumably Ali collected ₦ 400,000 from the family, claiming to be able to stop the investigations and guarantee the release of the suspicion.

However, Opsh agents discovered the scam and arrested him.

“This arrest reflects our commitment to professionalism, transparency and zero tolerance for corruption,” said Zhakom, adding that the suspicion will be pursued once the investigations have ended.

He urged the residents plateau to remain alert and wary of scammers who exploit people with false statements.
