Hadin Kai Operations forces have killed three Islamic State commanders for the West African Province (ISWAP) in Borno State.
The Hadin Kai Operations Theater Command confirmed the news in a statement on Tuesday in Maiduguri.
The Theater Command added that terrorists were killed in an ambush effort in Cross-Kauwa, in the Lake Chad region.
The terrorists who were killed were identified as Modu Dogo Munzir from Dogon Chukun, Unknown Munzir, and an Abu Aisha, Qaid from the Mota Tumbun.

The troops also killed eight terrorists in similar operations on Monday.
The statement reads: “In the first meeting on 15 September 2025, around 8:00 in the morning, Sector 3 troops on the main supply route of scanning and picket along the supply route -Cross Kauwa in the Regional Government of Kukawa were ambushed by terrorists who entered the explosive orders (IED) and opening patol on The Patol on The Patol.
“The battle of weapons occurred after the bomb explosion and forced terrorists to escape with various levels of injury. At least 14 motorbikes, AK-47 rifles with magazines, special ammunition rounds 7.62mm, anti-air, several blankets, and other graying items, including drugs, restored in operations.
