The Wike assistant fires Gov Diri’s security alert

Nyesom Wike

The governor of the state of Bayelsa, Douye Diri, was recommended to face serious governance activities and to stop lifting security alarm without foundation in a mega gathering in support of the Minister of the Territory of the Federal capital (FCT), Nyesom Wike.

The Senior Senior Assistant of the Minister of FCT in public communications and on social media, Lere Olayinka, who reacted to claim by the governor of the State of Bayelsa who “a mega gathering and inauguration of a group faithful to the Minister of FCT, was planned to hold in the state”, said; “That alarm is shamefully without foundation!

“It is so unfortunate that a governor with all the security enthusiasts at his disposal could go to national television with the simple suspicion of people who plan an event, which is their rights to keep.”

He said the Nigerians were free to express their support to anyone, everywhere and at any time, asking; “Is this how the governor is afraid of Wike? Can the governor prevent people from keeping gatherings in the state if they want?”

Olayinka said that if the Minister of FCT would have participated in any political event in the state of Bayelsa or everywhere, he would have informed the security agencies alone and his involvement will be seen because he is not afraid of anything.

He observed that it was ridiculous that a governor should call the Security Council and the meetings of the Council of the Elders of Bayelsa to discuss the question of the suspicion of people who plan an event for Wike, asking; “Is this that it has become the childish government in the state of Bayelsa? Haves to use wikes as covering up for its failure in governance and politics?”

Olayinka said it was fun that the governor Diri did not remember that Bayelsa was not Rivers State or FCT, when he ran after Wike, looking for support for his re -election.

“When he was looking for the re -election, this same was brought to Wike, … at night. He was brought by the Minister of State for Petroleum, Senator Lokpobiri. David Lyon came with him then.

“While kneeling, imploring Wike to support him, he (Wike) was saying:” No, don’t do it, you are a governor, don’t do it “.

“Shamefully, the same Wike has become someone around, just to hide his inadequateness. So obvious that some people have no consciousness and is a shame.”
