A witness to the prosecution identified as PW-AAA told the Federal High Court, Abuja, on Friday that the leader of the Biafra Indigenous Peoples (IPOB), Simon Ekpa, would be immediately brought from Finland to Nigeria to face the trial for supporting Nnamdi Kanu in agitation for the Biafra Republic.
PW-AAA, one of the operators of the State Service Department (DSS) who arrested Kanu in 2015 at a Lagos hotel, stated that this was during a cross-examination by IPOB’s leader advisor, Head of Kanu Agabi (SAN).
EKPA was captured by the Finnish authority last year.
Previously, the Federal government also proposed more items that recovered from Kanu and recognized as an exhibition by the court.
This includes one black laptop, two multi -mixing transmitters, one iPad of a mini white apple with a bag, one gray apple iPad with a bag, one gray macbook with a bag, one gray macbook with a casing, a mini drone sound wave speaker, and two white mini speakers.
The other is a large computer mouse, one white adapter, one laptop adapter and a cardboard bag with a laptop, two 3G modems, two GLO modems, one Glo Hawaii modem, one MTN modem, one Ethisalat modem, one flash drive and one camcorder.

The rest is a hand recorder in a black bag, one macbook pro adapter, one microphone holder, one phillips headphone, one sharp radio microphone with cables, one pro sound microphone with cables and one 4G LTE modem.
Witnesses, however, said that no weapons were found from the leader of IPOB during his arrest in Lagos.
He also said that no weapons were found from the woman who was caught along with Kanu.
He said that even though the restored items might not be unusual to offend, the defendant’s intention might be the opposite.
The witness also told the court that he did not analyze one of the items found because his mandate was to make an arrest and get a statement from Kanu.
Hakim James Omotosho delayed the problem until May 6, May 7 and May 8 for the continuation of the Witness Cross Call
