Those who were at the meeting were members of the Progressive Congress (APC) in the state, the African Democratic Congress (ADC), the Democratic Party (PDP), the Social Democratic Party (SDP), the Labor Party (LP), and the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP).

However, the committee was inaugurated despite chaos.

Former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, who is one of the leaders of the opposition coalition at the forum, condemned the attack.

He said: “If the authorities do not end the introduction of thugs into Kaduna politics, God helps us. No one has a monopoly of violence or criminals.

“We will take decisive steps to ensure that this is not repeated.”
