Colombian Vice President Begins Vision for Three Days to Nigeria

Colombian Vice President, Francia Márquez, arrived in Nigeria on Saturday for a three -day official visit.

Marquez, accompanied by her husband, Mr. Rafael Ocoró, received at Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja, by the Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Head of UCHE NNAJI; and female affairs, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim.

Others are Minister of State, Federal Capital Region (FCT), Bunkure Mariya, Director General, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Zubaida Umar, and other senior government officials.

The visit of the Vice President of Colombia is expected to deepen diplomatic and strategic relations between Nigeria and Colombia.

He will meet with the President of Bola Tinubu and other senior government officials to discuss the issue of common interests, including governance, trade, agriculture, energy, education, and security.

Historical involvement will also strengthen bonds in trade, agriculture, education, energy, culture, and empowerment of women, opening new chapters in South-South collaboration.
