Tinubu Bola President arrived in Lagos on Tuesday for the 50th anniversary of the Economic Community of the Countries of West Africa (Ecowas).
The President’s aircraft landed at Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, at 4:15 pm and received by state government officials.
President Tinubu will host other ecowas heads and government on Wednesday at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA) and Eko Hotels and Suites to mark the gold jubilee event of the Regional Block, which began at ACCRA last month.
The Lagos event will include a re -re -reacting of the 1975 declaration at the Nigeria International Affairs Institute on Victoria Island.

The only alive head of state who signed the Ecowas declaration, General Jacobu Gowon (RETD), will participate in all ceremonies and deliver speeches at Eko Hotels.
President Tinubu will also inaugurate several projects while in Lagos.
Among them are part I of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal highway, the Lekki Lekki Sea Tax Concrete Road, the Flag Part II of the Lagos-Calabar Beach highway, and the 7th axial road.
The president will assign the canoe-honetan-hadejiya paths part II and Yakasai-Zalli Road and mark the northern By-pass canoe, Zaria-Hunkuyi-Dabai part I, Dabai-Kafur Malumfashi, and Malumfashi-Dayi-Yashe-Gidan Mutum Mutum Daya Dayi.
Tinubu will observe Eid al -Fitr prayers in the State Building, Dodan Barracks, before returning to Abuja.
