Tinubu reforms are tough but necessary for the economy distorted by Nigeria – Soludo

The Governor of the State Anambra, Chukwuma Soludo, stated on Wednesday that the reform of the Tinubu Bola President was a drug needed for the distorted Nigerian economy.

Soludo made a statement in his speech at the commemoration of Nigeria’s 65th independence at AWKA.

He said: ‘I praise the brave National Reformation of President Tinubu, including the abolition of subsidies, harmonization of exchange rates, re -design of fiscal and tax policies, and other structural reforms.

“This reform, clearly, in the short term, must have several disturbing effects, including some pain and unexpected difficulties.

“However, they are medicine needed for a distant economy and disclosed.

“This is the time we have to rebuild our nation on a stronger basis, and I urge the Nigerians to stand firmly, because the road to renewal requires sacrifice.

“But beyond the current difficulties, there is Nigeria where our currency becomes stronger, our economy becomes more productive, and our resources serve many people, not just a few.

“I encourage all Nigerians to support this reform and show patriotism by complying with the law and paying taxes. This is a path to a more prosperous future.”

The governor described Nigeria’s independence as a symbol of hope, freedom, and the possibility of the black race.

“At the age of 65, our national journey has become one of the victories and trials, progress and setbacks, conflicts and reconciliation.

“Through all that, the spirit of persistent from the people of Nigeria has survived,” he said.

Soludo emphasized that his government would continue to invest in the development of human resources, preparing the next generation to innovate, compete, and develop.
