Tinubu saves the winners of the supplementary elections in 12 States, Incen Loda

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu congratulates all the winners of Saturday 16 August, elections in 16 electoral colleges in 12 states.

The President praises the independent national electoral commission (INC) for the elections without hitches, mostly without violence.

Following the results declared by Incen, the All Progressives Congress (APC) won in 12 electoral colleges, the ALL PROGRESSIVES Grand Alliance (APGA) won in two, the Democratic Party of the Peoples (PDP) won in one and the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) won in one.

President Tinubu congratulates the new APC national president, prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, for the huge victory recorded under her leadership.

It also congratulates the governors of the APC and other leaders for the success of the supplementary elections.

“President Nentawe Yilwatda showed the leadership capacity and has shown what is achievable when popular candidates are lined up and with a purpose unit among the party leaders,” observes the president.

“To all the faithful APCs and the electorate, thanks for the trust stored in our party. Be sure that our renewed slogan of hope is not a simple slogan. Our destination is a better, safer and more prosperous Nigeria. We will take you there, by grace of God,” he said.

The president Tinubu praises all the political parties and the candidates who participated in the elections and envelops them to continue to be guided by the spirit of sportiness, a fair race and the magnanimity, which are enabling lasting democracy.
