Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has denied the report that he collected money from the Governor of the State Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for his 2023 election campaign.
He made clarification in a statement issued on Thursday by his aide Paul Ibe.
Atiku reacted to claims in several places that the governor gave him money for the 2023 presidential election campaign.
He described the satire as a propaganda of lies and the Kanak -Kanakak Park.
The Head of the Democratic Party (PDP) stressed that he did not know Sanwo-Olu and had never met him before.

The statement reads: “How is it possible for Atiku who does not know and has no relationship with Sanwo-Olu to make transactions with him involving money exchanges during the 2023 presidential election where the boss is a contestant?
For what purpose it is? “
Atiku urged the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) to announce the results of the investigation, because it has been dragged into it.
