TMC to offer free medical services, keep a conference of the day of independence in Abeokuta

The Muslim Congress (TMC), a chapter of the State of Ogun, has announced the intention to celebrate the 65th anniversary of Nigeria’s independence with the free medical services and its 18th annual conference in Abekuta.

According to TMC Waali in the State, dr. Abdulrazaq Ogunmoye, the free health sensitization will be held on Saturday 4 October 2025, at the Ake Palace Arcade, in collaboration with accurate medical laboratory, Patriots and Damien Foundation.

The beneficiaries are scheduled at the headquarters by 8:00 for medical checks, free consultations and drugs.

The anniversary conference, the theme “The Nigerian state and the lessons of contemporary history”, will be chaired by the ambassador Sarafa Tunji Ishola, a former high commissioner in the United Kingdom and Baba Adinni of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta.

Other speakers include Professor Ishaq Akinintola, founder of Muslim Rights Cerstine (Muric), who will speak of global policy and sovereignty, and the Sovere Abdul Hafeez Areremako, who will face the prospects and challenges of Shariah in a pluralistic society. Senator Adegbenga Kaka will act from the main speaker.

The event will also present the presentation of prizes, the distribution of health insurance certificates to the leaders of the community and a digital literacy competition.
