Troops rescue 3 kidnapped persons in Kaduna community

Troops of Operation FANSAN YAMMA have rescued three kidnapped persons in Kaduna State.

The Nigerian Army disclosed this in an operational report given to journalists on Tuesday in Abuja.

It said that the operators followed up with a quick response to emergency calls in Kushere Village.

The military revealed that the incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday morning, when bandits invaded the community and kidnapped three residents.

Troops said the victims were Abdullahi, Saidu Julfe and Kamilu Joddi.

The report read: “Troops deployed from Forward Operating Base (FOB) Dokan Karji received a distress call at around 01.00 am and were immediately mobilized to the area.

“When we arrived, it was discovered that the bandits had fled from the community with the victim towards the Kafin Gora axis.

“The troops swiftly pursued the kidnappers, resulting in a shootout and the three victims were rescued.

“The criminals fled under pressure from the army, leaving the victims behind.”
