Leandro Trossard and Thomas Partey scored as Arsenal secured a 2-0 win over Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday night.
In a dramatic goalkeeping duel, Arsenal’s David Raya made a crucial save from Ollie Watkins to keep the scores level, while Emi Martinez’s error allowed Partey’s shot to go through, giving the Gunners a crucial two-goal lead.
Mikel Arteta’s side took full advantage to take the lead after 67 minutes, substitute Trossard scoring with his first touch after replacing Gabriel Martinelli.

Partey doubled Arsenal’s lead 10 minutes later to seal victory against the side that tarnished their title hopes last season.
Currently, Arsenal, Manchester City and Brighton have won two of their two Premier League games and are at the top of the table.
Liverpool, Chelsea and Newcastle will all be in action on Sunday.
