Abuja (basic reporter) The honorable interior minister, dr. “The era of arrears and manual customization is over. The Nigerians can now expect a faster and more reliable service while we strengthen the integrity of our travel documents,” said the minister.

Highlighting the key milestones of the reform program, listed the minister:

Migration towards a single series of uniform passports, eliminating discrepancies between the previous versions.

The full integration of Nigeria in the ICAO (PKD) public key directory, guaranteeing the global authentication of Nigerian passports.

Successful extinguishing of the new system in all the passport issuers, including Nigerian missions abroad.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu accredited, for his unwavering support, as well as the dedication of Dr. Magdalene Ajani, the permanent secretary of the Ministry of the Interior, the CG Kemi Nandap immigration service, the Ministry’s officials and the staff of the Nigeria immigration service.
