Ucheibe wins the fourth consecutive title of Taça da League with SL Benfica

Midfielder, Christy Ucheibe He won the title of Taça Da League with Benfica, ensuring the 2024/25 edition with a 2-1 victory over Sporting CP in the final of Sunday in Dr. Magalhães Pessoa de Estedio.

Sporting CP took an early advantage through Diana Silva, who opened the scoring in the ninth minute. However, Benfica responded in the 20th minute, with the Brazilian striker Lais who reduced the equalizer.

When the game approached its conclusion, Carole Costa reached the winning goal in the 88th minute, ensuring that Benfica retained the title Taça da League.

Ucheibe played the full 90 minutes, contributing significantly to the triumph of Benfica, since he added another title to his growing list of achievements with the club.

This victory marks the fourth consecutive title of Taça Da League of Benfica, continuing its domain since Braga won the competition in the 2021/22 season.
