Vaibhav Suryavanshi who is fourteen years old has made history by becoming the youngest player to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and immediately hit the first ball he faced for six.
Opening the Suryavanshi batting, who was only 14 months ago, came as a substitute for the impact for Rajasthan Royals and scored 34 runs from 20 balls, announced himself on the big stage by hitting the first ball on the additional cover for the maximum.
Suryavanshi reached three six and two crawling for 20 cameo balls before he was confused by the lucky Lucknow Giants Captain Rishabh.
The teenager replaced Captain Rajasthan who was injured Sanju Samson, who suffered an injury to his team against Delhi Capitals in the previous match.

Suryavanshi became the youngest player purchased at the IPL auction when he was signed by Rajasthan Royals for £ 105,000.
His choice came only a few weeks after he destroyed 58-ball one hundred for India U19 against Australia U19 in an unofficial test at Chennai.
Suryavanshi, who was born in 2011, held another record as the first IPL cricket player who was born after the tournament began in 2008.
The previous youngest IPL debutant was Prayas Rai Burman, who appeared in 2019 aged 16 and 154 days for Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
Meanwhile, Mujeeb Ur Rahman from Afghanistan is the youngest international cricket player on IPL, debuting in 17 in 2018 for the king of Punjab.
