Five dead, 15 saved in the collapse of the construction of Lagos

The rescuers recovered five bodies and saved another 15 living in the rubble of a three-story building that collapsed in the Lagos Ojodu-Berger area.

Ibrahim Farinloye, coordinator of the Lagos Territorial Office of the National Emergency Management Agency, confirmed the figures on Sunday in Lagos.

Farinloye said that the five recovered bodies included two adult males and three females, while those saved lives included six adult females and nine adult males.

The rescue operation is still in progress.
