Vandals Text Faan Space Airspace, Travele’s away equipment in Lagos

The thugs attacked an aerial structure of the Federal Authority of the Airports of Nigeria (Faan) in Lagos, leaving a police inspector injured and a private security guard.

The accident took place around 5:05 on September 25 during a heavy downpour, when about 20 suspicions vandali stormed the armed armed site of cutlets, axes, tiles and other weapons.

Police sources reported that Dada Fisayo and Francis Azurunwa inspectors, who were on duty at the time, were attacked but managed to reject the attackers.

However, taking advantage of the rain and gaps in the perimeter of the structure, another group of thugs remained away with two 7.5 kva inverters and different cable lengths.

Inspector Fisayo has reported injuries but has been treated since then and is due to discharge, while a private guard, Babaunde Makinde, has undergone a deep cut on the left hand and is receiving care.

The police investigators, led by the Division Police Officer, visited the scene and efforts are underway to track down the suspicions and recover the stolen equipment.
