VeryDarkMan slams actress Tonto Dikeh over viral school ‘liberation’ video

Social media commentator Martins Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, has criticized actress Tonto Dikeh following a viral video showing her conducting a “liberation” session during a visit to a school.

The critic accused the actress of turning situations involving students into social media content rather than providing meaningful support to children.

Tonto Dikeh previously shared several clips on Friday, March 6, 2026, documenting what he described as spiritual encounters during an evangelistic outreach at the school. In a video posted online, the actress said that she and her team were preparing to leave when she felt what she described as a “spirit of death” around the area.

According to him, he immediately told his team members about these feelings, after which they started praying. The prayer then evolved into what he described as a release session involving several students.

The video quickly circulated on social media, drawing mixed reactions from users.

Responding to the clip, VeryDarkMan condemned the incident and urged the actress to avoid involving children in what he described as dramatic spiritual displays online.

He also warned Tonto Dikeh to stay away from the school, because the school was in his community. The commenter added that instead of having a public release session, the actress should focus on providing practical support.

VeryDarkMan further claims that he has personally contributed to the development of the school by renovating some of the facilities in an effort to support and motivate the students.

“With all due respect to TONTO DIKEH…..this is a warning DON’T COME TO MY AREA TO DO THIS AGAIN….NA ONLY POOR CHILDREN ARE GOOD TO TEST YOUR STRENGTH, LEAVE MY AREA’S CHILDREN ALONE, we want to raise children who are oriented towards real life not an ideology that if it doesn’t work someone will stalk you from the village, prayer is good but without work prayer is useless….GET YOUR NEW CONTENT AT ELSEWHERE, LEAVE THE GHETTO CHILDREN ALONE,” VeryDarkMan wrote in the caption.
