The forward was on target in Napoli’s league win over Udinese at the Stadio Diego Maradona on Wednesday.

Osimhen scored Napoli’s second goal as the Partenopei recorded an emphatic 4-1 home win to end disappointing run of form in the league.

Napoli went in front from the penalty spot in the 19th minute, thanks to a penalty converted by Piotr Zielinski.

Victor Osimhen then doubled Napoli’s lead in the 39th minute ending a dry spell of 485 minutes without scoring a goal in the process.

The goal came as a big relief for the Player who has been in the middle of a storm at Napoli for the last four days.

The Nigerian then ran to the touchline to hug Jesper Lindstrom – but ignored coach Rudi Garcia – it was his fourth of the season.

Kvicha Kvaratskhelia and Giovanni Simeone got the other goals for Napoli.
