We are not recruiting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Alert in search of work
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nigeria has denied any knowledge of the exercise of recruitment in progress at the Ministry, exhorting the public to ignore any information of this alleged emanation from the miniatry.
In a press declaration made available to basic journalists on Wednesday 23 April, the ministry spokesman, Kimiebi IMOMOTIMI Ebienfa, said: “The attention of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was attracted to a fraudulent recruitment exercise to have circulated online and through various platforms, which falsely bring the signature of the honorable minister e
“The Ministry dissociates itself unequivocally from this misleading and harmful advertising and urges the public in general to ignore these announcements and refrain from involvement with individuals or entities that promote these fraudulent patterns.
“To avoid doubt, the recruitment in the Nigerian foreign service is conducted exclusively by the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC). The Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not make the direct recruitment and does not require or accept payments for work applications or appointments.
“The members of the public are therefore strongly recommended to remain cautious and not to fall victim to these fraudulent schemes.
“The Ministry is committed to supporting the highest standards of transparency and integrity in all its processes and reiterates its dedication to safeguard the interests of the public. All the Nigerians are encouraged to remain informed and vigilant against the fraud linked to employment.
