I want to say something and I hope everyone in Nigeria takes this into consideration
I have studied politics and seen the way it works
Nigeria politics in general is broken, there is a say that if it ain’t broken don’t fix it,
But Nigeria system is absolutely broken and needs to be fixed
The problem is more than sars , wen u have a bad system of government u have bad justice system, bad law enforcement, bad government departments , just bad and filled with corruption and lazy leaders
Nigeria is the definition of wat happens wen you don’t take politics serious it’s indeed sad
So even if Nigeria ends sars police are still worse they are corrupted walking around with ak47 it’s a mess
But this moment of protest is a great time for Nigerians to reason as one here are the things u should consider
There are 19 political parties in Nigeria- that is toooooo much shows how divisive the country is
If u look at Canada America Australia uk non of thier political parties exceed 3 , and I believe that is the reason those countries are better structured

Has 3 branches of government
Legislation/ congress which is the people (basically political parties)
The executive branch/ president- a political party elects a leader to represent thier idea and give he or she more power by gaining the presidency
Then the judicial branch/supreme court of Nigeria- who is elected by the president

A political party/congress takes on the president takes on the judicial it is thier philosophy that takes this country

Simple stoop stop stop stop stop voting for any Nigeria political party they all are not credible and lost their chances to represent Nigeria
Create another party that is more tuned towards tearing down and rebuilding Nigeria to a stronger foundation call it the Boston tea party
This is challenging because it requires all Nigerians from all cities and state to truly unite as one regardless of age gender and tribe Igbo Hausa Yoruba
Communication is key all must agree to vote for this new party place it into power
This theory worked well in America history
America didn’t like wen British was ruling them they needed a majority of the state to pass a law to renounce the British but there was a major political party called the loyalists who didn’t want to fight against the British
Until one day British taxed surged and Americans had enough so they all United and formed the Boston tea party which won the majority and they lawfully went to war with the British
This is long but please use this moment to unite Nigeria by creating a new political party stop voting for any party especially if it hold majority in the legislature
So create a new party that all Nigeria will vote for so that that party can destroy and rebuild and set Nigeria on a stronger foundation
