We have no involvement in any agreement with Wike -pdp
Abuja (basic reporter) contrary to WidRawal’s explosion of the Minister of the Territory of the Federal Capital (FCT), Nyesom Wike on the alleged agreement with the Popular Democratic Party, (PDP), the main opposition party in Nigeria has rejected these Wike statements, saying that it is not bound by any agreement with him, who does not refer to the decisions of the staff of the party.
The national financial secretary of the party, Daniel Woyengikuro, gave the clarification on Monday, stating that the PDP has had no involvement in any agreement made by Wike.
“What agreements are we talking about? Wike had agreements with his friends, not with the party.
“Those names that mentioned – are the party? The part was not involved in agreements he did. We have no knowledge of these agreements,” he said.
Woyengikuro underlined the need of the National Party Executive Committee, NEC, which is its highest decision-making body apart from the convention-to convene and face the growing disputes.
“Nec will face any problem. This is not a physical struggle or a man’s clash. All this useless drama is not required,” he added.
He also rejected the public accusations of Wike, advising the Nigerians to look for official positions of the party from the appropriate authorities.
