“We need it now” – Manchester United’s legend tells Club to sign Osimhen at all costs

The former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand urged his former club to prioritize Victor Osimhen’s firm in the next summer transfer window.

The Red Devils are supporting their worst first level campaign in more than three decades.

Sitting in 13th place with 38 points, its season has been affected by the inconsistency, tactical confusion and an obvious lack of fire power in the front.

Manchester United has achieved only 37 goals in the PL in this term, with the Rasmus Højlund and Joshua Zirkzee strikers combining only six goals.

Ferdinand, speaking in his podcast, did not hold.

“We need Osimhen, we need experience, we need someone to know how to write down, we need someone who can come and show these young strikers in Man United how to do it. If I am a united man, I’m making it come true,” Ferdinand said.

To facilitate movement, he proposed a bold exchange agreement:

“I want someone to suppose the whole field at the elite level and know how to score at the elite level consistently. I want it here and now.

“Yes, Osimhen has not played in the Premier League, but I don’t care, I think he writes wherever I go.”

Osimhen, currently lenting in Galatasaray, has scored 28 goals and has provided 5 assists in 32 appearances in all competitions.

It was strongly linked to a Premier League movement last summer, but the release clause of 130 million euros of Napoli proved to be too steep.

The Roman Fabrizio transfer expert has recently suggested that, although Osimhen remains in United Radar, the movement remains uncertain due to its high salary demands and at the general cost of the agreement.
