We stop the process of student visa, when Harvard protested Trump’s steps

In the dramatic escalation of strong action against foreign students, the US government has suspended student visa processing when protests erupted at Harvard University for President Donald Trump’s latest step to tighten the control of elite institutions.

On Tuesday, US Foreign Minister Marco Rubio signed the direction of stopping the publication of new students and visa exchanges. “Every additional student or visa exchange … The Capacity of the Displaced Gathering Promise until further guidelines are issued,” ordered, seen by reporters, stated.

This happens when the White House increases the steps against foreign students involved in anti-war protests and accuse them of supporting the Palestinian militant group Hamas. Rubio had previously revoked hundreds of visas, while Trump’s administration moved to prevent Harvard to register international students.

Administration also plans to improve the supervision of the social media profile of international applicants, said Cable.

Visa freezing came after mass protests at Harvard University, where students unite with the government’s plan to end all the remaining federal contracts with the institution. This step is seen as part of a broader Trump campaign to force Harvard to surrender to the curriculum and research control.

Hundreds of students joined the Tuesday protest, carrying signs of reading “Trump = Trown” and singing, “which is included in the class today, let them remain” in solidarity with international students who have visa status that have been thrown into danger.

“All of my international friends and colleagues as well as the professor and researchers are risky and threatened to be deported – or their choice is transferring” to other universities, said Alice Goyer, who wore black academic dresses to protests.

A British student from the history of medical, identifying himself only as a jack, echoing concerns over the terrible effects on international applicants: “I don’t know if I will pursue the PHD title here, six years is a long time,” he said.

Meanwhile, the White House defends administrative priorities, shows that funds must be transferred to training and vocational programs that promote “American values.”

“The president is more interested in giving taxpayers to schools and programs and public schools where they promote American values, but most importantly, educating the next generation based on the skills we need in our economy and our society,” Karoline Leavitt said at Fox News, Tuesday night. “We need more than them in our country, and fewer LGBTQ graduates from Harvard University.”

When the news helicopter floated above the head and yard of Harvard Square’s grass to host a graduation reception, a judge issued a temporary detention order on the administrative plan, while waiting for the trial on Thursday – on the same day the Harvard opening ceremony would begin.

Harvard has launched several legal challenges to block Trump’s steps, with legal experts who predict the court will ultimately power according to the wishes of the university. Professor of Law School Albany Ray Brescia argues, “This case is very strong so that the court system will not step to the side and let this … to move forward.”

Film maker Anurima Bhargava also announced that alumni planned to sue the Trump government on June 9, sharing news during a virtual meeting organized by Crimson Courage, a group of grassroots alumni who mobilized against hard action.

Targeted contracts on Tuesday – estimated to be worth $ 100 million – representing the latest blows in what has become a large -magnitude attack by Trump’s administration of one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in the country. Over the past few weeks, Harvard has faced billions of dollars in frozen federal grants and canceled the contract.

Nevertheless, President Trump has vowed to continue the campaign, describing foreign students Harvard as “tradicated crazy people, troublemaker” in a statement on Monday, underlines tensions that increase between administration and academic communities.
