‘We will meet in court’ – Adeyanju reacts when Peter Obi threatens legal actions over the slandering position

Lawyers and human rights activists, Deji Adeyanju, said he could not wait to conspire in court with the former Governor of the State Anambra, Peter Obi, after he received a court call for alleged posts slandered that he made on social media against former presidential candidates from the labor party.

Obi, through his legal team, Ejesimen & Co Madiba Chambers, threatened to sue Adeyanju after a series of posts he had made on Facebook and X which according to the team demean and slandered a statement of the former governor.

In a notification that demanded a revocation of public for alleged statements of slandering with an indisputable apology from Adeyanju, OBi’s legal team specifically referred to the Facebook Post Adeyanju on August 21, where he accused Obi of stealing from the treasury of the State of Anambra to invest in his family’s business.

At the post, Adeyanju had claimed that he met with Obi who tried to give him money and call him thank you for coming, swear he said the truth and dared for the former governor to deny the claim.

However, when reacting to legal notice in a post that he shared on his official Facebook page on Wednesday night, Adeyanju said he was ready to meet Obi in court.

“Just getting this letter from Peter Obi, a religious fanatical that demanded revocation from me. I laughed so loudly. I could not wait to meet him in court.

“This same man called Sowore who was great as a government leader. We serve the girls of his little assignment, one letter to withdraw all the publications that slandered on Monday against my wife & he ran to the leader of the horde to ask for help. Can’t wait to meet him in court.”
