Igbo people tend to be somewhat more reserved than a few other ethnic groups (Yoruba being the most typical example, but even then it depends on a lot, including where exactly in Yorubaland they’re from) bud overall it does feel like there’s an over-current of loudness at times wherever there’s a large number of ‘typical’ Nigerians in any one space, wherever in the world it is. This business of screaming on the ’phone and putting it on loud-speaker in public for everyone to hear does seriously need to chill down and out.
