Former Governor of State and
The Minister of Federal Capital Region, FCT, Nyesom Wike, and Veterans Journalist, Dele Momodu, have made social media rooms on fire with verbal fireworks exchange as a result of Vituperations Wike during chatting with several selected media houses on Thursday.
During the chat, Wike has fired the first Salvo by describing the publisher of International Ovation magazines as ‘fat kids’, saying he doesn’t even know his name.
When one of the journalists asked him to respond to the criticism of the new Momodu to his political antics and “loose tongue”, Wike said:
“There is this boy, they say he is a journalist. What’s his name? He is big.”
When a journalist said “Dele Momodu”.
Wike Responds to:
“Okay, I don’t remember all these names. He was never my friend. He nominated himself as president, but he didn’t get one vote.”
Comments by Wike have annoyed many people who go to the archive to dig up old photos when they are on the same page.
And just like the verbal attack was raging, Momodu who was a presidential candidate on the People’s Democratic Party Platform (PDP) in 2023, descended to his Facebook page to blow up Wike, calling him drunk who lost his memory due to excessive alcohol intake.
“I can confirm that too much alcohol can do two things, blunt memories and make people thin,” he wrote.
“In the election, there was no difference between men who wasted billions to seek power and were still lost and people who did not spend anything and did not get anything.
“They are both losers … The difference here is a local champion that is not polite and not cultured called ‘Money Miss Road’ while others are beautiful and fine global citizens who survive in satisfaction …
“We think we can help but we fail because some souls are not redeemed …
“Lesson: No one has a monopoly of madness …”, he wrote.
