Federal Capital Region Minister (FCT), Nyesom Wike, and Governor of the State Rivers, Siminaayi Fubara, on Saturday met with the Rivers State Elder Council in Port Harcourt in what observers were described as part of sustainable efforts to manage political tensions in the state.
The meeting united key figures, including the Chairman of the Rivers State Council Council, Martins Amaewhule, and Chairman of the Rivers State Elder Council, Head of Ferdinand Alabraba.
The photos from a closed meeting were released on Sunday morning by Lere Olayinka, a senior special assistant about public communication and new media to the FCT Minister.
Sharing pictures on her X grip, Olayinka described the meeting as a sign of solidarity.
