Winner to emerge as 2025 Yasug League draws curtain

The emotion is reaching a high point in the Yaba College of Technology as the curtain feels in the Yasug 2025 League, with a final confrontation of the day to determine who will be crowned by the best football champions of this year.

After several exciting weeks of action, everything is reduced to a game: the School of Business Management and Studies (SMBS) versus the School of Engineering, since the winners of the potential league can emerge from the party.

Organized by the sports director’s office under the leadership of Comrade Odenike Quadri, the 45th Yasug Administration has delivered one of the most competitive and energetic seasons in recent history. Since stopping positions on social networks, the League has captivated students in all faculties.

The League was attended by eight schools within Yabatech: SMBS, School of A-Parcial (SPT), School of Engineering, School of Technology, School of Environmental Studies, School of Sciences, School of Liberal Studies and School of Art. Each team brought energy, identity and sand to the field.

But in the course of the campaign, SMEs remained above the rest, showing consistency, tactical discipline and moments of individual brilliance.

Near them is the part -time school, which has a center of the strong field led by its captain always composed, while the SMEs have been mortal in front of the goal, driven by the acute attack instincts of its main striker. Both parties have passionate bases of fans and have changed blows throughout the season on campus and social networks. Now, they will solve the debate in the field.

Speaking before the final, sports director Odenike Quadri described the accessory as more than a football match.

“The trip that began with passion, sweat and implacable spirit has reached its most anticipated moment: the great final of the Yasug League 2025. Come and support your favorite team while they dance for glory. Let’s make history together,” he said.

The final match will take place on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at the Yabatech Sports Complex, with the beginning scheduled for 12:00 noon.

Students, staff, alumni and the entire campus community are expected to arrive in large amounts of what promises to be a memorable event.

The Yasug League has always been more than a competition: it is a celebration of teamwork, the school spirit and the vibrant student life that defines the Faculty of Technology of Yaba.

As the battery wins stronger and the banners rise high, the final dance waits.
