This is the YABATECH registration procedure for newly admitted students 2023/2024 of different departments for the part-time program of the institution. Therefore, candidates offered provisional admission into various part-time programs at Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) for the 2023/2024 academic session should be able to commence their registration online. see the registration details below;

This involves a step-by-step registration procedure. Newly admitted students to the Yabatech part-time program should follow these simple steps to register;

  • Step 1: The first step is payment of the acceptance fee
  • Step 2: Log in to the school portal at (Student portal.) to upload the documents required for selection.
  • Step 3: After uploading the document, candidates need to click on “submit for pending selection”.
  • Step 4: Click on tuition payment and pay the fees accordingly
  • Step 5: Generate the registration number on the candidate portal.
  • Step 6: Log back into the “student portal” to record your lessons
  • Step 7: Access course materials for registered courses.

All applicants must complete the processes outlined above no later than Friday April 16, 2021.

B/W Physical screening will be conducted at a later date. However, candidates must take responsibility for the documents they upload. Provisional admission will be lost if the uploaded documents are found to contain false information.

Document Required for YABATECH Admission Screening Exercise

After completing the YABATECH registration procedures, prepare for physical selection. The following documents will likely be required for the yabatech physical screening exercise. Not all documents may be required, but it is best to carry all documents with you to avoid incomplete submission of documents. the document is ;

  1. Original JAMB Result; This document must include a photo of the candidate to be valid. It is usually printed from the amount admission website.
  2. JAMB Admission Letter: This document is accessible to candidates after acceptance of admission. Therefore, printing the admission amount is important as it is one of the basic requirements for verification.
  3. Original O’level results: These are original certificates obtained from your secondary school, whether in one or two sessions. This is an important document required for admission selection.
  4. Certificates of origin from local government: This document is a recommendation and verification by your home local government and is a very important document required during the monitoring exercise.
  5. Birth certificate/affidavit: This document must clearly indicate the day, month and year of your birth. Candidates who do not have the birth certificate issued by the hospital can take oath in court to validate their date of birth and the same will be acceptable to the school during selection.
  6. Letters of recommendation from guarantor/arbitrator: This document causes people to attest to the candidate’s character and recommend them for admission over the guarantor. In some cases, guarantors are designated as people of a certain level or social rank in society, while in other cases, anyone can guarantee a candidate.
  7. Parental tax clearance: This is optional for federal institutions while some state institutions consider it an important document.
  8. All payment receipts: This includes receipts received for each token you paid as directed by the education authority. They understand; acceptance fees, medical fees, post-utme, etc. Candidates are advised to come with all payment receipts to avoid incomplete document during the selection exercise.
  9. School admission letter: Applicants should endeavor to print the school admission letter from the school website as soon as the admission offer has been confirmed from the website.
  10. Certificate of Affidavit/Pledge of Allegiance: in most cases a form stating this information will be issued by the school for applicants to complete and return and it will eventually be completed in their document held by the school authority.
