In view of the legislative elections on Saturday in Karim 1, the electoral election of the State of Taraba, the All Progressives Congress (APC) had established a national council for the campaign of 60 men for the elections.
The former governor of the state of Zamfara, Senator Abdulaziz Yari was appointed by the party as Prime Minister, while Professor Suwaiba Saidu Ahmad will act as secretary.
Hajiya Imam Sulaoman-Ibrahim, Sani Musa senators, ORji Uzor Kalu, Kaka Shehu and Jim Kuta are appointed covers.
The appointment of the Council of 60 men was contained in a declaration by the APC national vice president (North East), partner Mustapha Salihu and the deputy leader of national women, Hajiya Zainab Ibrahim.
The declaration states: “Before August 16, Karim 1 Taraba State the election of the electoral college which will be conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INC), the All Progressives Congress (APC) announces the members of the underlined advertising of the National Party Campaign Council”.
Other Council members include the Minister of Health, Prof. Mohammed Ali Pate, the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Investments, Olajumoke Oduwole, Defense Minister, Badaru Abubakar, former governor Jolly Nyame, former deputy governor of the State of Lagos. Sen. Idiat Oluranti, Minister of State, Foreign Affairs, Bianca Odumegwu Ojukwu and Minister of State, Work and Productivity, Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha.
