Six people were saved after a two -storey building collapsed in Modpeola Street, Mangoro, in the area of ​​the local government of Alimosho in the state of Lagos.

It was collected that the building collapsed at around 18:00 on Wednesday 24 September 2025.

The accident was confirmed by the State Commissioner of Lagos for information and strategies, a homooso gbenga.

Homotor, in a post on his account on social media, he revealed that a person was wounded, adding that the cause of the collapse of the building had not yet been ascertained.

Homooso said that government officials launched a probe on the accident.

The Commissioner said: “The emergency management authority of the State of Lagos (Lasema) and other first rescuers arrived on stage well and saved a trapped victim and five others from the rubble.

“The five who were saved were brought to a private hospital in the neighborhood. The trapped victim, who had a fracture and bruises, was brought to the surgical emergency of Lagos State University Hospital (Lasuth) by the Lagos State Ambulance Service (Lasambus).

“He arrived in the hospital in stable conditions and was immediately admitted for further care.”
