The police command in the State of Ondo confirmed the attack of the wife of a traditional sovereign and his son by young Irati on Friday at the Idogun community in the area of ​​the Local Government Ose.

The young Irati presumably launched a violent attack on Oba Moses Bakare’s wife, the onidogun of Idogun and his son, Prince Victor Bakare.

The accident occurred in the Ishara neighborhoods of the Idogun community when the prince visited his parents to join the celebration of the New Yam Festival.

DSP Olushola Ayanlade, spokesman for the command, who confirmed the accident to journalists, said the police would reveal the circumstances surrounding the attack of the family of the traditional sovereign in the community.

“Yes, the prince and his mother were attacked by the young Irati. The case is under investigation and we are not leaving anything of intended in ensuring that justice is served,” he said.

In the meantime, Bakare (Prince), while talking to the journalists on the accident, said the young Irati put injuries on him.

He said that the attackers humiliated his family by stripping his mother half naked, pouring urine and other dirty substances on him and physically attacking the traditional sovereign.
