Zulum prohibits the sale of alcohol in Borno – Thage

The state government of Borno has forbidden the sale of liqueurs and alcohol content in the state.

The Governor, Professor Babagana Zulum, announced the embargo on Tuesday, during the inauguration of a committee reconstituted on the “revocation of illegal hotels, brothels, shacks, criminal hiding places and restraint the threat of anti -social vices” in the rooms of the Council of the government, in Maidugiuri.

The decision, according to the governor, derives from the growing cases of clashes between rival groups, cultural, prostitution, abuse of drugs, delinquency and theft, which led to the loss of lives and valuable objects.

He accused of serving and withdrawing the security staff of promoting crime and anti -social vices in the state.

“I am happy to know that the army officers are here, in particular the military, the police and others are here because most of these activities have been committed by whom? Some of them are dismissed officers of the army, officers of safety, current army officers, men and officers, including civilians. Ever of crime, in this matter, if we do it crime.

The reconstituted committee includes soldiers, police, civil defense and several other security agencies, including the civil JTF. He commissioned the Committee to free the state of all forms of crime and anti -social vices.
