The presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the presidential elections of 2023, Dumebi Kachikwu, said that the members of the coalition led by the former vice president Atiku Abubakar in their despair to divert the party have forged the signature of some party presidents of the party in terms of settlement of the Court of Port Harcourt.
Kachikwu, who declared him while he informed journalists in Abuja, said that their lawyers presented a petition for the appropriate law enforcement officers on the question of possible criminal actions.

Kachikwu also accused Atiku and a little northern elite of using ethnicity and religion to mount feelings against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other southern aspirants for the office of president.
He said: “Atiku Abubakar and some northern elites who, for decades, have maintained political power, but have done nothing to alleviate the under-education and impoverishment assistant in northern Nigeria for political purposes, are again in violation of the South, of the weapons, the victims of the South, the victims of the poverty. “On the daily basis they are spreading falsehoods deliberated against not only the president Tinubu, but against all the potential southern aspiring for the president’s office. Speaking, he also said that to weaken the South, the former president Jonathan had been enrolled in the race and would presumably offer Peter Obi the coordination position of the Minister of Economy to support his ambition.
“In all these, the Nigerians are the losers because the meritocracy that can not only prosper when Ceteris Paribus is at stake was thrown out of the door due to a truth that Ceteris Parius does not exist in the Nigerian ecosystem,” he said.
