A wave of anger swept through Government House, Port Harcourt, on Thursday after the state Governor Siminalayi Fubara promised cash rewards to protesting youths.

Addressing the protesters on Thursday, Governor Fubara acknowledged their frustration and said, β€œYou are here because you want a better Nigeria. I am one of you. I see your suffering. I will convey your message to the President.”
