KRC Genk’s Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare maintained his impressive start to the season with two goals in a thrilling 4-3 away win against Beerschot on Matchday 4 of the Belgian Pro League on Saturday.
Arokodare, who has scored in three consecutive league games this season, increased his tally to four goals in four matches.
Genk, who were on a two-match winning streak, went down in the 7th minute but equalised in the 15th.
Arokodare then gave them a 2-1 lead in the 30th minute and added his second goal in the 64th minute, after an assist from compatriot Yira Sor, making the score 4-2.
Sor also contributed an assist before being substituted in the 69th minute, while the goal hero was replaced in the 90th minute.
