EFCC arrests 14 suspected internet fraudsters in Benue

The Economic and Financial Crimes Eradication Commission (KPK) has arrested 14 suspected internet fraudsters in Benue State.

The commission’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, disclosed this in a statement on Friday in Abuja.

He said the arrests of the suspects followed up on intelligence information about their involvement in internet fraud.

According to him, the suspect was arrested in an undercover operation at the Federal Low Cost Housing Estate, Makurdi.

Oyewale said: “The suspects are Austine Okwori, Osita Valentine, Skott King-David, Thomas Ifebuche, Akor Oche, Henry Adah, Scott Inalegwu, Ogbu Alpha, Samuel Moses, and Ogbonna Ckukwuaogwu.

Others are Mustapha Adinoye, Sylvanus Ogbu, Emmanuel Adamu and Samuel Otene.

He listed items seized from the suspects including mobile phones, laptops and amulets.
