The Super Eagles striker is left out of Nottingham Forest’s list of registered players for the season

English Premier League side Nottingham Forest have released their list of registered players for the season following the closure of the transfer window and also the conclusion of all transfers related to the team, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

Coach Nuno Espirito Santo has decided to leave Nigerian international striker Emmanuel Dennis out of his squad despite having him in the team for pre-season and test matches.

Dennis, signed this summer from Watford two seasons ago, spent two loan spells last season and was hoping to earn the trust of the manager he was working with for the first time.

The decision to leave him out of the squad has been under discussion for some time, and his representatives already know that he is a surplus player at the club, where his Nigerian compatriot Taiwo Awoniyi remains their main striker.

His contract could be terminated by mutual agreement if he fails to find a new club when the transfer window closes in all leagues around the world.
